Week 8 Activities
For this week's activities, I decided to redo my refined model, fusing the ideas from that model and my modified version of my room. I wanted to create more interesting ways for light to enter the rooms and include more materials I bought. This would be included in my final assignment.
Photoshop material combinations
For my first photo shopped picture, I used lighter colours to fit in its background; a peaceful garden which demonstrates my love for nature
and how I enjoy quiet spaces. I added stone floors to contrast with the light walls and match the pebbles on the floor in the background.
This second picture has a sunset, so there's a different perspective to the model. The dark concrete walls remind me of modern homes,
which is why I chose this material. It also complements the wood paneling on the front wall and the back wall. Wood and concrete seems to
always look aesthetically pleasing together, especially during later times in the day.
My final picture is on a marble floor because I like how it portrays it's expensive value as well as the different tones of grey. I chose stucco
material which is like a light pink colour to harmonise with its surroundings and other materials. I chose stone walls to imitate the marble
and I've seen this type of material in garden floors so I decided to put it here.
